Creative Motion

We’ll be doing something a little different for SpinFest this October. First please note that instead of our normal third Saturday event at the bathhouse we’ll be gathering on Saturday October 11th at the WRL Stone Tables instead. Here’s why:

In October Creative Motion will be paring up with the Mystic Mutts and Moonpies Festival to get our twirl on! We did this last year and it was SO much fun! This is a FREE event benefiting the Weimaraner Rescue of North Texas and Conscious Crossings, Inc not to mention the sea of pet rescue groups that come out. There are vendors with all kinds of amazing treasures, cool people, precious pooches, live music, drumming groups, belly dancers, flying Frisbee dogs, contests, a pet psychic, food (veggie friendly!), and of course US! Keep your eyes pealed for the CM booth chalked full of all the great toys you've been drooling over all in one place! Play right away.

If you’ve been coveting a Hula Hoop, Staff or Set of poi from Creative Motion, you’re in luck, we’ll be set up with our own booth this year and running the whirling fun in the center field! We’re inviting everyone out to support Creative Motion and the Mystic Mutts and Moonpies Festival. There are so many pets in need, and the event will be so much fun! Bring your toys and look for the Creative Motion Crew! We’ll be the life of the party! We always are.

***Gypsy is also looking for CM Circus volunteers to set the center field in MOTION. If interested in helping out please contact her ASAP to sign up.

Yeah…I spelled it that way on purpose. Monkey’s reoccurring typo gave Gypsy an idea. In November we’re taking the same fun we have at our monthly SpinFest and adding FOOD!

Saturday November 15, 2008 at 3pm Creative Motion will be celebrating all the things we have to spin about with a potluck-style Thanksgiving feast. Friends, Fun, Food and Skill Toys! What else do you need? The past year has given Creative Motion and the people behind it a lot of things to be grateful for and we’re hoping our friends will help us celebrate. Come join us and enjoy an amazing opportunity to learn, practice, play and perform [oh and don’t forget eat!!]. Engage in the world of skill toys and discover the talented, interesting and eclectic people that have already learned that the way is to play!

Also - Creative Motion is always collecting for on ongoing food drive. monetary donations and non perishable food items are accepted and greatly appreciated. This month let’s make a special effort to help those in need.

SpinFest takes place on the third Saturday of every month at the White Rock Lake Bathhouse in Dallas, Tx.
Bring your Glow-toys too! Sometimes we stay long past dark so as soon as the sun goes home we bust out the glow-stuffs and make a show of it.
Even if you don't play with skill toys...as long as you like to hang out with cool people, listen to good music and can have a good time you are invited too!!
