We’ll be doing something a little different to celebrate SpinFest this October. First please note that instead of our normal third Saturday event at the bathhouse we’ll be gathering on Saturday October 11th at the WRL Stone Tables instead. Here’s why:In October Creative Motion will be paring up with the Mystic Mutts and Moonpies Festival to get our twirl on! We did this last year and it was SO much fun! This is a FREE event benefiting the Weimaraner Rescue of North Texas and Conscious Crossings, Inc not to mention the sea of pet rescue groups that come out. There are vendors with all kinds of amazing treasures, cool people, precious pooches, live music, drumming groups, belly dancers, flying Frisbee dogs, contests, a pet psychic, food (veggie friendly!), and of course US! If you’ve been coveting a Hula Hoop, Staff or Set of poi from Creative Motion, you’re in luck, we’ll be set up with our own booth this year and running the whirling fun in the center field! We’re inviting everyone out to support Creative Motion and the Mystic Mutts and Moonpies Festival. There are so many pets in need, and the event will be so much fun! Just a heads up, no spinfest tomarrow. Sorry, Y'all. The weather is promising to be pretty icky and as February told us, it's not worth trying to trudge through rain or shine-it's pretty miserable. Plus our equipment would get wet.
